Auto-Sized Thumbnails
Another awesome feature with the Magazine theme is the ability to now display automatically generated thumbnails on the homepage. You can see that the sizes of your thumbnails can be configured on the options page.

Tabber Section
It’s been a while since we have developed any themes that included this function – after many themes were released with the Featured Content Gallery plugin, I felt it was necessary to go back and use the tabber section, something I think works exceptionally well for a magazine theme.

Support For Localization
Another awesome feature that is included with the Magazine theme is support for localization. We have been asked numerous times if our themes can be localized, and we are going to make sure that all of them can be internationalized into different languages.

Sidebar eNews & Updates
The Google/Feedburner eNews & Updates can easily be turned on/off via the theme options section.

One of the best features is the ability to choose whether or not you want a post to have a 2-column or 3-column layout. There’s a place to select this just below the text box, and it’s THAT easy. You can see the way both look by checking out the Metro demo site – just head towards the Post Templates link in the drop-down menu.

Built in SEO for Posts/Pages
Another feature, and new to StudioPress themes, is the built in box for SEO Options. Here you can enter a custom title tag, keywords and description to any post or page on your site. This is great for those looking to optimize their sites for search engines and will certainly help in your rankings.

Images/Videos on Homepage
Many of our themes include images on the homepage – with the Executive theme, you have the ability to display images on the homepage (as seen in the Executive theme demo site.) We also included the option to override these images by allowing embedded video code to be added

Another awesome feature of the Executive theme is support for internationalization. Now you can fully localize your site with the language you desire.

Theme Options Page
As can be seen below, we have the option to change the size of the thumbnail images that are shown at the home page bottom. We use the TimThumb auto-thumbnail image script so the load times are much faster and you can resize the thumbnails on the fly.

Changing Color Styles
As you’ll see from the theme options page below, there are a few features that are new to the Streamline theme. The first of them being the ability to change the color style of the theme via the theme options. As you’ll notice from the theme download file, there’s no longer separate folders for each color. We’ve included a blue.css file in the theme’s root directory, then added a styles/blue/ directory where the images are stored. This allows you to easily change colors from within your dashboard and opens this up as a framework with potentially using child themes.
